Pancakes & Door Knocking
It was a busy weekend the campaign trail!
I started Saturday morning with coffee and great conversation at the Orono Market—thank you to the folks who stopped to chat! In the afternoon, I hit the streets to connect directly with residents. Door-knocking has been one of my favorite parts of campaigning—it’s a chance to listen, learn, and better understand the issues that matter most to our community.
On Sunday, my wife Linne and I attended the annual Long Lake Fire Department Pancake Breakfast. Not only were the pancakes fantastic, but it was also great to see both the Long Lake and Orono Fire Department trucks on display together outside. Moments like these feel like positive steps forward for public safety and the future of fire service in our community.
It was a pleasure sharing a meal with our incredible firefighters and community members.
If we didn’t get a chance to connect this weekend and you’d like to chat, I’ll be at the Orono Market next Thursday, May 8th from 7:30 to 9:00 AM—come say hello over a cup of coffee!
